INDIA SAYS Wow…our love story lol. Travis and I have known of each other for quite some time. I used to see him riding through town and passing by my house beating down the block with his loud music lol. On several occasions Travis tried to pursue me,and we did converse a little. To be honest, our age difference was the only thing that held me back from being open to his advances. Travis even told my cousin Sierra to hook him up with me but she told him, “My cousin to young for you, you better leave her alone lol.” I will admit that each time I saw him he got harder to ignore because he was always so sweet and such a gentleman. June 2014, I hit my cousin Asia up and told her that I ready to give Travis a chance. I promise you this was random and it just hit me out of nowhere to just go for it with him. The same exact day we starting poking back and forth on Facebook. I finally messaged him and said, “Are you going to text me or what?” From that point on we talked daily and didn’t look back. We became inseparable and finally made it official and public July 13, 2014.As I write this I cannot stop myself from tearing up because when I tell you my love runs deep for this man, it really does. Travis has shown me nothing but unconditional love, trust, and encouragement throughout our entire relationship. Are we perfect…no. Is everyday perfect…no. What truly matters is the fact that he truly has a heart of gold and protects my heart like precious cargo. December 25, 2016 Travis asked me to marry him. He received a big YES. I wouldn’t trade him or our journey for anything in this world. God got us!
TRAVIS SAYS The first time I looked at India, I knew I had to have her. One day, I saw her riding and it was like time stood still for a day, but it was more like 30 seconds. I decided to pursue her and as time went on I went around asking all her cousins to put me on her. The only response I would get is, “Ok, I'll tell her.” I always use to think to myself, “She doesn't even notice me.” I would ride by her parents’ house with my music up loud only so she could look out the door to see me riding by. I tried and tried, but then I eventually gave up. One day in 2014 I decided to approach her, so I grabbed her hand, looked into her eyes, (note I was nervous just like a kid would be when they are in trouble lol) and said “I Want you” and she just walked on like I was not talking to her lol. I received a poke out the blue unexpectedly and I almost jumped over the moon. From that day on it has been an amazing journey. No matter the ups and downs, smiles and frowns, I can truly say that I would not trade this journey with India for nothing in the world.
